Money is the bread and butter of any political election. It makes more than just the wrold go round - it ensures you can buy Ads, Headquarters, and even save yourself from Random Events that could very well cost you the election. To view your income, check the assets tab at the bottom left.
Fundraising
How do you get money? Great question you ask, do you see the button with money on it? Then that's your go-to! That's Fundraising.

Headquarters
HQs are your first and foremost source of passive income. Every HQ when built provides $10,000 in income. However this is not enough, as not just any HQ does the trick. It's Consulting Offices that really do the trick. Upgrade an HQ into a Consulting Office and you'll immediately receive an additional $10,000 in passive income and a +20% effectiveness towards all your fundraisers.
Upgrade it to an Fundraising Strategist Firm and you'll save 1 point of Stamina every time you fundraise, as well as a +50% effectiveness plus the additional 10k in netcome. Allowing you to do anywhere from 5 to 7 fundraisers in a single turn in that respective state, while reaping in a whole 50% more. Upgrade your HQ to an Economic Impact Group and this bonus explodes to 100%.
Additionally, upgrading HQs will let you see more issues in that state, letting you set up ads, speeches, and campaign on even more issues than what you were allowed to before. Feel spoiled yet? File:Coolhqupgradestuff.png
Political Action Cards
Finally, there is one more way to net in serious cash, and exactly when you need it, but for a cast. Using Political Action Cards, you can pull in Big Donors, Unsavory Donors, Donation Drives, and Grassroots Donations to get instant sums of cash when you need it.
There is another type of card however, that can boost your fundraising. This is where Event Coordinators and Party Planners come into play, which will bosot your fundraising ability either in that state, or for a few specific turns. File:Coolcardupgrade.png
