The Fixer from the original Political Machine series is here, and has a bigger role than ever. As one of two universal cards that can remove anything on the map, it will be one of the crucial centerpieces in stopping oppressive play, and helping salvage your map.
For something that removes all cards in the state, look towards the other universal deck card, the Maverick Reformer.
Strategy
This is the most universal operative in the game. When you need to stop an Endorsement, the Fixer is your go-to. When you need to stop an opponent from racking up early game Political Capital, then removing the Lobbying Team is the way to go. When it comes to removing a crucial operative that could curtail your chances in the ultimate swing state, then the Fixer is the card you need to call.
This is in every single deck alongside Maverick Reformers, however you may only get a handful of these operatives, meaning you will need to use them wisely and make their efforts count. Your opponent may be more keen to push the advantage if they know you do not have any Fixers or Maverick Reformers.
There are cards that can block the Fixer such as the Spy Network, Intel Network, Unity Over Division, and the National Pride Brigade. These elements trigger on card play and will prevent you from successfully removing them.
