Ending Human Trafficking is one of the many divisive issues of American politics.

Description

The increase in refugees and migrants fleeing the Middle East and North Africa has led to a rise in human trafficking groups offering to assist these migrants cross the Mediterranean. Unregulated and poorly equipped, these groups have been implicated in the deaths of several groups of migrants. Whether and how to police these groups has proven to be an election issue.
